I am having a wonderful time working with all of your students! They are a committed bunch who are taking this show very seriously. I love it!
By tomorrow, we will have completed all blocking and choreography. That means that students know where they are on stage and off stage at all times. So, now that we are less than 3 weeks away from the first performance, it’s time to really focus on lines and songs. Everyone knows which lines belong to them and which solos they have in their songs, so now it is time to get “off book,” meaning that they have all their lines and songs learned. One thing we’ve talked a lot about it the importance of learning when NOT to sing as much as learning when to sing. So, I’d love for them to be working on all of that at home.
Guy Evans sent out a link to the songs from the show for your students to practice with. If you didn’t get that link, will you let us know? Listening to the songs will help them so much!
If you haven’t already, you will likely hear from the production team, soon. Putting on a show requires a lot of team work and there are several volunteer positions we’ll need to get filled. I’m so excited for the students to have a solid team supporting them! They’re working so hard!

Thanks so much!
